Human body detection based Entry-level IQ analytics
Even the simplest Videosec IP cameras recognize when they see a person in front of them. By setting an intrusion detection or line crossing alarm, the camera's image analytics will only generate an alarm for objects that resemble a human figure.
A firmware is available for 2MP cameras with hybrid light, with which the camera automatically switches from IR to white light and a color image at night when a human figure is detected.

Human body and vehicle detection based Entry-level IQ analytics
In LSA cameras with 4 and 8 Megapixel resolution, the image analytics can recognize the presence of human figures and vehicles. With an intrusion detection or line crossing alarm set, the camera's image analysis algorithm generates an alarm only for human figures or vehicle-shaped objects.
With entry-level IQ analytics, we are not yet able to select whether an alert is sent based on human or a vehicle.
The 4MP resolution cameras with hybrid light automatically switch from IR to white light and color image at night when human or vehicle intrusion is detected.

Cameras with human body and vehicle detection based Smart IQ analytics
When using full Smart IQ analytics, you can individually limit each alarm zone to only respond to pedestrians, vehicles, or bicycles/motorcycles.
For every alarm, the camera informs the recorder whether a person or a vehicle has violated the area and also attaches a FullHD JPG to the alarm.
On the NVR also during playback retrieval, you can specify that it lists only pedestrians, only cars, or only bicycles.
Interactive area protection allows a pre-recorded mp3 audio file to be played on the cameras' built-in speaker when an alarm is triggered,
in addition, a light signal can be selected by switching from infrared to white light or flashing during the day.

Intrusion detection,
the most important alarm
The most important IQ image analytics alarm is intrusion detection. If you connect Videosec cameras to a Videosec NVR, you should use this analytical alarm. Based on this, we can request push alerts to cellphone and can retrieve recordings based on intrusions.
The two main parameters of intrusion detection are the drawn area/areas and the stay time, which can be set from 1 to 9 seconds. This minimum of 1 second reduces false alarms to almost zero: if a moving shadow is human-shaped for a moment, it must remain human-shaped for a minimum of 25 frames to generate an alarm.
